Exhorder

Exhorder is an American thrash/groove metal band from New Orleans, Louisiana. They are credited as the purveyors of the groove-oriented thrash sound later made famous by bands such as Pantera, White Zombie, and Machine Head. Initially active from 1985 to 1992, they have since reformed in 2008.

Nuclear Assault

Formed in 1985 by bassist Dan Lilker after his stint with Anthrax, and singer/guitarist John Connelly, Nuclear Assault are a thrash band from New York.  Aside from creating ripping thrash metal, Nuclear Assault are known for their social commentary and sense of humor. In some ways similar to contemporaries Testament and Exodus, Nuclear Assault raise the stakes by folding in New York attitude and elements of hardcore, making them a unique-sounding East Coast thrash band. Circle pit to their third MDF appearance.

Corrosion of Conformity

Founded by three teenagers in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1982, Corrosion of Conformity began as an underground band and went on to transform heavy music, challenging boundaries and serving as what Decibel Magazine called “a crucial stylistic lynchpin in the bridge between metal and punk” that “irrevocably reshaped crossover’s sonic possibilities.

Voivod

Voivod are a Canadian heavy metal band from Jonquière, Quebec, Canada. Their musical style has changed several times since the band's origin in the early 1980s. Starting out as a speed metal band, Voivod have added a mix of progressive metal and thrash metal to create their own unique metal style.

Coroner

Coroner is a Swiss technical thrash metal band from Zurich.  Formed in 1983, the band broke up in 1996, but decided to reform 14 years later. The band performed at multiple live venues and festivals around the world in 2011, but have said that new material isn't a possibility. Coroner's music combines elements of thrash, progressive rock, jazz, and industrial metal with suitably gruff vocals. With their increasingly complex style of progressive rock-infused thrash, they are often labeled as "the Rush of thrash metal" by music critics.

Infernal Stronghold

Infernal Stronghold are a black/thrash metal band from Philadelphia, PA.

Hellbastard

Hellbastard are a thrash metal/crust punk band, formed in the mid 1980's in the United Kingdom.  They split up in 1991, and reformed again in 2008.

Morbid Saint

Morbid Saint is an American thrash metal band from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, active from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s. The band opened up numerous concerts for Florida's Death, one of the progenitors of death metal, as they shared a manager. The band has recently reformed and are planning to record two new songs for the reissue of "Spectrum Of Death".

Ghoul

Ghoul is a thrash metal band from Oakland, California. Though the members' actual identities are meant to be concealed, it is known that some members of Ghoul also play or have played in other bands such as Impaled, Dystopia, Wolves in the Throne Room, Exhumed, Phobia, Asunder and Morbosidad. The members go by the stage names Cremator, Fermentor, Digestor, and Dissector. The band has a large line-up of characters in their lyrics, including the four of themselves. Most of the information about them comes from the "Curio Shop Owner" one of the many characters mentioned in their songs.
