Come to Grief

Come to Grief was formed in 2014 by former members of the widely acclaimed band Grief, and are named after Grief's 1994 album "Come to Grief".

16 (stylized as -(16)-) is an American sludge metal band from Los Angeles, California. The band is currently signed to Relapse Records. -(16)- has been cited, along with fellow pioneering acts such as Eyehategod, Crowbar and Acid Bath, as one of the subgenre's seminal outfits. In July 2016, the band released their seventh full-length album, The Lifespan of a Moth.

Dopethrone

With a band name ripped from pioneering doom/stoner band Electric Wizard’s 2000 release, you know exactly what you’re in for. Formed in Montreal in 2008, Dopethrone are oppressively heavy, blending thick riffs with New Orleans grit. Dopethrone is a must-see for all stoners and doom fans. Get ready to be transported into a swap of perpetual haze at their first MDF set.

Primitive Man is a sludge/doom band from Denver, Colorado.

Mantar

Mantar is a sludge/doom metal band from Hamburg, Germany.

Inter Arma

Inter Arma is a blackened sludge/post-metal band from Richmond, Virginia.

Serpentine Path

Serpentine Path formed from the ashes of Unearthly Trance in 2011.

Sourvein

Sourvein are a doom/sludge band who formed in 1993 in Cape Fear, North Carolina.  Singer, and only original member, T-Roy also did samples and sang backup vocals for sludge greats Buzzoven until their initial demise in 1998.  Sourvein will be performing their final show at Maryland Deathfest in 2014.

Seven Sisters of Sleep

Seven Sisters of Sleep are a Los Angeles based sludge band that formed in 2010.  Since their formation, they've released several splits and full length albums on prominent labels such as Southern Lord and A389 Recordings.  Seven Sisters of Sleep will be making their first Maryland Deathfest appearance in 2014.
