Winter

Winter is an American death/doom band from New York. They take their name from the Amebix song of the same name.

Confessor

Confessor is a doom metal band from North Carolina, United States. By their technically complex interpretation of traditional doom style, they are also well-known name within progressive metal circles. To date, the band has released two full-length studio albums.

Following the release of their 1991 debut album, Condemned, Confessor disbanded in 1993 while the band was already planning a second album, but reformed in 2002 and is still active today.

Saint Vitus

Saint Vitus is an American doom metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1978.  The band has been regarded and credited as one of the first bands of the genre.

Electric Wizard

Electric Wizard are a doom metal band from Dorset, England that formed in 1993. The band have since recorded seven albums, two of which are now considered to be landmarks of their genre. Electric Wizard have a distinct yet traditional doom metal sound that incorporates stoner and sludge traits, with lyrics typically involving the occult, witchcraft, H.P. Lovecraft, horror films and marijuana. 

Agalloch

Agalloch is an American metal band formed in 1995 in Portland, Oregon. The band is led by vocalist and guitarist John Haughm and so far have released four limited EPs, four full-length albums, two demos, one split album, one compilation album and one live DVD.  Agalloch performs a progressive and avant-garde style of folk metal that encompasses an eclectic range of tendencies including neofolk, post-rock, black metal and doom metal.  Agalloch will be making their 2nd appearance at Maryland Deathfest in 2014.

Acid Witch

Acid Witch is an American death metal band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 2007. The band's musical style draws from many genres of music including doom metal, stoner metal, psychedelic music and death metal as well as horror films and soundtracks.
