Catheter

Catheter is a death metal/grindcore/hardcore band from Denver, Colorado.  Originally formed in 1997, the group has a prolific prolific recording and touring history, which has greatly contributed to their influence in the American grindcore scene.

Devourment

Devourment is an American death metal band from Dallas, Texas. Formed in 1995, the band ha  s split up and reformed three times and only one of the original members remain.

Misery Index

Misery Index is an American deathgrind band formed in 2001 in Baltimore, Maryland.  Misery Index's music is best described as death metal with strong hardcore punk and grindcore influences. Their lyrics tend to be highly critical of prevailing power structures in modern culture, everyday life and the ills of modern society, often coinciding with progressive, radical and anarchic aesthetics. Their band name is derived from the economic indicator of the same name, which was also the namesake of the last album by Assück, from whom Misery Index also draw inspiration.

Cattle Decapitation

Cattle Decapitation is an American deathgrind band from San Diego, California.  Originally founded in 1996, Cattle Decapitation's songs protest the mistreatment and consumption of animals, the abuse of the environment and touch subjects such as misanthropy and genocide of the human race. Much of their music is based on putting humans in the situations that animals are subjected to (animal testing, slaughter, etc.).

Destroyer 666

After his departure from Bestial Warlust, K.K. Warslut formed Destroyer 666 in 1994. Originally this was a one man project but grew to a full black/death/thrash assault soon after. Their celebrated album, Unchain the Wolves, debuted in 1997 and remains a defining record for bands seeking to blend black and thrash metal. Their newest album, Wildfire, dropped in February 2016.

Immolation

Immolation is a death metal band from Yonkers, New York.  Formed in 1988, they have been very influential on countless death metal bands in America and abroad.  They and fellow New York death metal band, Incantation, helped bring the New York death metal scene to the attention of the underground. Immolation's debut album is frequently cited as being one of the first technical death metal albums and is therefore regarded as an important and highly influential album, having laid down the blueprint that bands such as Cryptopsy and Suffocation would follow with their respective debuts.

General Surgery

General Surgery are a goregrind/death metal band from Sweden.  Formed in 1998, the group split up in 1991.  They were inactive for roughly 11-12 years before reforming.  Released their first full-length album in 2006, seventeen years after forming.

Ex-Dementia

Ex-Dementia are a thrash/death metal band that formed in 2005 in New Jersey.  

Rottenness

Rottenness is a brutal death metal/grindcore band from Cancun, Mexico.  The group formed in 1994, and were one of the first metal bands from their area to start playing shows around Mexico. After an initial attempt to play MDF in 2005, the band finally made it to the stage in 2010.  Rottenness disbanded early in 2012, only to reform later in the year.  

Sulaco

Formed in 2002, Rochester NY's Sulaco incorporates elements of death metal, grindcore, progressive rock, hardcore, doom, and noise rock into their songs.
