Disma is a death metal band from New Jersey.

Morbid Saint

Morbid Saint is an American thrash metal band from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, active from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s. The band opened up numerous concerts for Florida's Death, one of the progenitors of death metal, as they shared a manager. The band has recently reformed and are planning to record two new songs for the reissue of "Spectrum Of Death".

Ghoul

Ghoul is a thrash metal band from Oakland, California. Though the members' actual identities are meant to be concealed, it is known that some members of Ghoul also play or have played in other bands such as Impaled, Dystopia, Wolves in the Throne Room, Exhumed, Phobia, Asunder and Morbosidad. The members go by the stage names Cremator, Fermentor, Digestor, and Dissector. The band has a large line-up of characters in their lyrics, including the four of themselves. Most of the information about them comes from the "Curio Shop Owner" one of the many characters mentioned in their songs.

Macabre

Macabre is a grindcore/death metal band from Chicago, Illinois, and have never had a line-up change. They blend thrash metal, death metal, and grindcore (sometimes with nursery rhymes and folk melodies) to form their own unique style dubbed murder metal. Lyrically, they have a strong focus on serial killers, mass murderers and a touch of sick gore humor. Most lyrics are based upon true stories and are about real infamous personalities.

Demigod

Demigod was a death metal band formed in 1990 in Loimaa, Finland. The band's debut album "Slumber of Sullen Eyes" is highly regarded in the heavy metal community.

Pentagram (Chile)

With only two demos of three songs each, which both date as far back as 1987, as their entire studio output, the name Pentagram has nevertheless persisted in time as one of the originators of what is known today as death metal.

Morgoth

Morgoth is a German death metal band that was formed in 1985 by Rüdiger Hennecke and Carsten Otterbach in Meschede. The name was derived from the epithet of the original dark lord Melkor in J.R.R Tolkien's Middle-earth Legendarium.

Dying Fetus

Dying Fetus is an American death metal band originally from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Formed in 1991, the group is known for their consistently hook-laden song structures, characterized by blast beats, complex riffing and hardcore-style breakdowns. Additionally, their reality-based lyrics characterized by political/modern themes are notable in death metal. 

Suffocation

Suffocation is an American death metal band that was formed in 1988 in Long Island, New York.  Suffocation rose to prominence of death metal and created a blueprint for the genre for the 1990s with their 1991 debut album "Effigy of the Forgotten".  The band's raw death metal style uses guttural vocals with a downtuned guitar sound, fast complex guitar riffs and drumming, and a sophisticated sense of songwriting.

Brujeria

Brujeria is a "Mexican-American" extreme metal band formed Los Angeles, California in 1989. Their name comes from the Spanish word for "witchcraft". Their songs, which are sung in Spanish, are focused on Satanism, anti-Christianity, sex, immigration, narcotics smuggling, and politics. Ironically, despite Spanish lyrics, portraying a Mexican image and with a heavy anti-American stance, the majority of the band's members are actually American born, and with some being Swedish or British. The band is not from Tijuana, Mexico regardless of popular belief.
