Death Metal

Defeated Sanity is a German death metal band from Dachsbach, Bavaria, that was formed in 1994, originally as a side project of guitarist Wolfgang Teske and his son, drummer Lille Gruber. Gruber is the only original remaining member left in the band, following the departure of Teske in July 2008.  Their style is considered to be very techinical and progressive.

Gravehill is a death metal metal band from Anaheim, California.  Their sound incorporates elements of thrash and black metal with old school death metal.

Dead Congregation is a death metal band from Athens, Greece. The band formed from the remnants of a crust punk band "Nuclear Winter" and adapted a style reminiscent of early Swedish death metal.

Cianide is a pioneering American death metal/doom metal outfit that formed in 1988 in Chicago, Illinois.

Nunslaughter is a death metal band that formed in 1987 in Pittsburgh, PA, but have since relocated to Cleveland, Ohio.  The band refers to their style of music as "Devil Metal".  

Contrastic is a grindcore band formed in 1993 from the Czech Republic.  They have an experimental sound that includes elements of electronic and industrial music with an experimental flare.

Rotten Sound is a grindcore band from Vaasa, Finland, formed in 1993.  The band is considered one of the premier grindcore bands in the acclaimed Scandinavian death metal/grindcore scene.

Gehenna is a hardcore band from California formed in 1993.  Their music blends elements of death metal, black metal, thrash and punk.

Avulsed is a death metal band from Spain, formed in summer 1991 in Madrid, Spain.

Atheist is a death metal band from Florida, founded in 1984 by drummer Steve Flynn and singer/guitarist Kelly Shaefer. Atheist are noted for their highly technical playing style, often reminiscent of jazz.
