  • I'd love to see Triptykon, Arcturus, and Obituary return to MDF 2016 - they had some great shows. I enjoyed Vulcano, Neurosis, and Aura Noir a lot as well. I'd also enjoy seeing Tiamat, My Dying Bride, Samael, Therion, Candlemass, Voivod, Carcass, Satyricon, Fields of the Nephilim, Madder Mortem, and King Diamond/Mercyful Fate.
  • I regret that I missed Primordial, Winter, Master, Demilich, Napalm Death, Jex Thoth, and D.R.I. at MDF 2015, and I wouldn't mind catching at least a a couple of these bands in a future MDF.
  • It seems unlikely that they'd appear at MDF anytime soon, but Disincarnate, Coroner, and Emperor seem like they'd be some good shows from what I've seen and heard of their live performances online.
  • I like the great variety of bands that appeared at MDF 2015, and I think I'd be just fine with seeing the occasional traditional NWOBHM, folk-metal, power-metal, punk, or hardcore band in the future. YMMV, but I think I could see The Exploited and Discharge, for example, going over well at MDF, as well as In Extremo and Streetlight Manifesto.  I missed seeing Korpiklaani, Ensiferium, and Trollfest at the Soundstage a few days after MDF 2015 (I just didn't have the time, money, or energy after MDF to see another concert), so it would be kind of cool to at least see Korpiklaani at MDF 2016.

My number one band to play would to get Dismember to reunite (get them to play from front to back Like An Everflowing Stream after all, it'll be it's twenty fifth anniversary!) Then have them play other material the second half of their set and Dismember should headline the Edison Lot as well! Other bands to play at MDF XIV are : Abbath, Antiversum, Autopsy, Beherit, Behexen, Bolt Thrower, Craft, Cryptopsy, Dawn, Demigod, Exciter, Grave, Hypocrisy, Infernal Majesty, Interment, Lord Belial, Merciless, Mournful Congregation, Naglfar, Nocturnal Depression, Possessed, Sargeist, Satanic Warmaster, Unanimated, and Under The Church! |m|

Nothing crazy. Lots of repeats.Esoteric, Immolation, Nile, Asphyx, Whiplash, Voivod, Department of Correction, St. Vitus, Immortal, Autopsy, Melechesh, Mortuary Drape, Macabre, Nifelheim, Inqusition, Bolt Thrower, Acrostichon, Plague Widow and Sabbat (UK) and the Martyrdoom 4 lineup. Anything heavy and interesting. For example I forgot where I was and almost lost my mind during Knelt Rote. Not bad for a set I had no intention of seeing. Fewer stoner bands. My attention span refuses to cope with the likes of Yob. More punk rock at Soundstage.
