Sarke

Sarke is a black metal/thrash metal band from Oslo, Norway.  Thomas "Sarke" Bergli began the project in 2008 as a one-man band, with Sarke himself writing all the music and lyrics.  Prior to the recording of the debut album in late 2008, legendary vocalist Nocturno Culto was brought in to lead the  vocal assault.  After releasing their first album and adding some live musicians to their lineup, Sarke played several successful shows in 2009, and it was decided to make the project a permanent band.  In September 2013, Sarke will be releasing their third full-length album, Aruagint, described as an eclectic mix of 70's death-rock, 80's speed metal and 90's black metal.  Sarke will be making their premier US appearance with an exclusive show at Maryland Deathfest 2014, with vocalist Nocturno Culto performing in the US for the first time ever!
