Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost are an iconic, pioneering doom metal band from England. Founded in 1988, the band has maintained a stable line-up, only ever changing drummers.  By 1989, the band had signed to the famed Peaceville Records, known for releasing bands like Autopsy and My Dying Bride. Paradise Lost have experimented with a multitude of styles beyond death/doom metal, including synthpop and electronic rock. Their output including keyboards and symphonic female vocals helped inspire gothic metal. At the end of the day though, Paradise Lost is synonymous with doom metal. Catch their first MDF performance.
