Nuclear Assault

Formed in 1985 by bassist Dan Lilker after his stint with Anthrax, and singer/guitarist John Connelly, Nuclear Assault are a thrash band from New York.  Aside from creating ripping thrash metal, Nuclear Assault are known for their social commentary and sense of humor. In some ways similar to contemporaries Testament and Exodus, Nuclear Assault raise the stakes by folding in New York attitude and elements of hardcore, making them a unique-sounding East Coast thrash band.
