Mgła (pronounced as "mgwah") is a Polish two-piece black metal band.  Mgła means "fog" in Polish.  They formed in 2000 in Cracow, Poland.  Using layered compositions and highly elaborate melodies, Mgła give a fresh and unique perspective to their style of black metal without straying too far from its' roots.  After their highly acclaimed 2012 release of With Hearts Toward None, Mgla finally began performing live, using a session guitarist and bassist on stage.
