Maryland Deathfest is proud to bring the action back to the Bay Area in the form of California Deathfest VII on October 12-13, 2024!
Headlined by Dismember (Sweden) and Sodom (Germany) and produced in the true DIY spirit we’ve always preferred, California Deathfest VII will be an open-air event at 3rd and Castro in Oakland, next to Line 51 Brewing, complete with a pre-fest on Friday, October 11 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco and followed by after parties on Saturday and Sunday at the Elbo Room Jack London on 3rd and Broadway.

Founded in 2003 to bring together some of the most legendary bands in the scene and most talked about up-and-coming bands in the underground for unparalleled event experiences Maryland Deathfest has hosted nearly 800 bands from all over the world.
Over the years, Deathfests has also branched out to California, Scandinavia, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Quebec and hosted Days of Darkness Festival.
